What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30, so please arrive between 5:00-5:15!

What is the attire?

Formal attire! Maxi or midi length dresses for women and suits for men. Color encouraged! The floor is tiled, so block heels are encouraged.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held lakeside outdoors and dinner and dancing will be inside. Guests can stay outside all night if they’d like, weather permitting.

Can we park at the venue?

There is no parking at the Boathouse, but there is street parking and a garage right outside the park.

Where should my uber drop me off?

For Uber enter “The Prospect Park Boathouse & Audubon Center” for Lyft enter “Prospect Park Audubon Center at the Boathouse.” You should be dropped at 101 Ocean Avenue at Lincoln Rd. From there, you can proceed to walk into the park and follow the signs to the Boathouse!

Can I bring a guest? My kids?

The Boathouse has a maximum capacity, so please only RSVP for those expressly listed on your formal invitation.

Where do I stay?

We have room blocks at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge, Ace Hotel, and Even Hotel, but you can also find a list of nearby hotels on the travel page. Stay wherever you want!

Is there an after party?

Yes! We’ll continue the party at Ruth bar on Flatbush Ave. Ruth is less than a 10 minute walk from the venue.

What do I wear to the welcome party?

Summer cocktail attire! It does not have to be too fancy. Think going to a nice dinner :)
